The first professional music league — real seasons, real standings, and relegation with teeth. Twelve weeks of competition across six genres, ending with a single champion. Here's everything you need to know.
Every competition in MIXDEN ARENA is built on these four mechanics. Understand them and you understand the league.
Every week, up to 12 artists per genre enter a structured 5-day competition. Submissions open, then voting opens. The cap is final — first come, first in.
A proprietary score blending vote count, voting velocity, voter diversity, head-to-head record, and tier standing. It's the universal ranking standard.
Before each season, fans draft artists to their squad. When your picks win, your GM record rises. Season-long leaderboards track every decision.
The bottom 2 artists per genre face DEV LEAGUE relegation at season's end. The record is public and permanent. Relegated artists re-qualify next season.
Season 1 runs 12 weeks across four distinct phases — Regular Season, The Qualifier, Playoffs, and The Final Drop.
Regular season DROPs determine seeding via cumulative ARENA Score and W/L record. Each DROP genre rotates to give artists multiple chances to compete in their strongest lane. The Relegation Zone is active from Week 1 — bottom standings are always visible.
All-genre open DROP. Cumulative ARENA Scores determine playoff seeding. Relegation Zone locks permanently — bottom performers face the DEV LEAGUE.
Top 4 artists per genre advance to head-to-head bracket matchups. Voting windows determine who advances to the Finale.
Surviving artists from the Playoffs compete in the winner-takes-all season finale. The winner earns Season Champion status — permanently on their ARENA Card.
The ARENA Score™ is a proprietary algorithm that measures competition performance across five dimensions. It's the universal ranking standard no matter the season or DROP type. The formula is ours.
Scores compound across the season. An artist who wins DROP 1 carries that advantage into DROP 2 and beyond. Consistency across the full regular season is rewarded at The Qualifier, where cumulative scores determine playoff seeding.
MIXDEN ARENA is built for four distinct roles. Each one carries its own record and stakes, plus a separate path to the top.
Enter DROPs each week to earn ARENA Score and build a W/L record that stays permanent. Artists rise through tiers or face relegation based on how they perform across the season.
Before the season, fans draft artists to their squad. When your picks win DROPs, your GM record rises. Your W/L record follows you season to season.
List beats, stems, sample packs, and sound kits in The Vault. Artists competing in the league buy directly from the source. 85% of every sale goes to you.
Access talent intelligence built from real competition data, not follower counts. See which artists keep performing under pressure as the season grinds on.
Artist tiers are determined by cumulative ARENA Score and season performance. Tiers control matchmaking difficulty, bonus multipliers, and your ARENA Card rank.
At the end of every season, the bottom 2 artists per genre are relegated to the DEV LEAGUE. This is not a soft penalty — it's public, and it stays on their record well into the next season.
Relegated artists can re-qualify through the DEV LEAGUE and return to the main roster. But the entry in the record stays. This is what makes the standings matter — and what makes a win mean something.
The league is organized across five distinct areas. Each one has its own purpose and leaderboards, along with an economy of its own.
Every role is free to start. Your record begins with your first action. The league runs year-round — there is no better time than now.
